Pippa Anderson MSc is a Director of Fourth Hurdle Consulting Ltd. Fourth Hurdle Consulting, founded in 1999, provides a focused resource for an industry facing increasing pressures related to market access and penetration. The directors have all worked as pharmaceutical industry health economists and are supported by staff skilled in health economics, qualitative and outcomes research. The company is, therefore, well placed to understand and quantify the value of health care interventions in the context of pharmaceutical and medical devices development and commercialisation.
As a founding director, Pippa brings to Fourth Hurdle Consulting a twenty-year career in the pharmaceutical industry within sales, clinical research and consulting and, since the early 1990s, in health economics and outcomes research. Her responsibilities as Senior Head in Global Health Outcomes, Glaxo Wellcome Research and Development, provided her with a high level of managerial and international business experience. Pippa maintains active involvement in client projects and lectures on academic courses in health economics. She followed her first degree in biological sciences, with an MSc in quantitative and economic methods in health care from City University, London. |
