Etad

Mark has worked for over 10 years within the pharmaceutical industry. He worked as a study team leader for five years for Hoffman La Roche in Strasbourg, France, where he was involved in setting up international clinical trials in various therapeutic areas including Oncology, Cardio-vascular medicine and Ophthalmology.

Subsequently, Mark worked at GlaxoSmithKline for four years as Clinical Research Education Adviser. In this role, he designed and delivered a range of clinical research courses to meet regulatory and business needs. These included GCP and SOP training courses for monitors and specific workshops for study team leaders such as protocol writing and effective study coordination. During this time Mark was also involved with monitoring, which included selecting investigators, site visits and study closure. Prior to this, Mark worked in Paris as a Business Development Manager for Clinpharm International (now i3) where he managed strategic planning, marketing and publicity.

Mark now works as a training consultant for ETAD Limited (Education Training and Development), a company that provides clinical research courses and workshops for pharmaceutical companies, CROs and investigators. He is also involved with the electronic data management forum (EDMF) which is currently evaluating eLearning and new training technologies.
